Possible funding for Canadian students here.Welcome to the 2th Canada-France Workshop on Foundations & Practice of Security
Protecting the communication and data infrastructure of an increasingly inter-connected world has become vital to the normal functioning of all aspects of our world. Security has emerged as an important scientific discipline whose many multifaceted complexities deserve the attention and synergy of the mathematical, computer science and engineering communities. Following the Canada-France Meeting on Security which was held at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, in Dec 06-08, 2007, the First Canada-France workshop on Foundations and Practice of Security was organized at the Universite du Québec in Montréal, May 31 - June 2, 2008. In addition to the scientific activities and tutorials, this Second Workshop meeting aims to establish links, promote scientific collaboration, joint research programs, and student exchanges between Canada and France in this important and fast moving research field. This year the second edition of the workshop is organized as a satellite event of CAV.
